Clay Camp
About Leander Clay Camp
I am a former elementary + high school art teacher, and current elementary school counselor in Leander ISD.
I am hosting an all-ages pottery clay camp this summer at the Splash Pad Park in Summerlyn.
Students will build clay creations for the first three sessions on June 9, 11, and 13. During the last three sessions on June 16, 18, and 20, students will paint their projects with ceramic glaze. All projects will be fired in a ceramics kiln, making them food, liquid, microwave, and dishwasher safe.
Participants can follow along on step-by-step projects, or they can make their own creations. Past projects have included coffee mugs, small sculptures, bowls, plates, holiday ornaments, jewelry, pencil holders, and more!
Location: Summerlyn Splash Park - 315 Sierra Mar Loop, Leander, TX 78641
